An evening with Peter Purves
The next meeting of the Nottingham Doctor Who fan group which is held at The Stage pub, Upper Parliament Street/Wollaton Street, Nottingham from 8:15pm

This will be our first chance to catch up after the festive period so it will be good to hear everyone's views on the Christmas Special; 'The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe'. This would also be a good time to discuss & review any bits of Doctor Who merchandise (books, DVDs, CDs, toys, 48th anniversary tea-towels etc.) you might have bought or received at Christmas time, or anything rare you might have tracked down on the internet or even in a charity shop!

Also; as The Time Sweep was won last month, the jackpot is now £5 but it could be yours so why not have a go? We hope you'll be able to come. Just look for a sign in the pub that says 'private booking', come on in and join us - Newcomers are always welcome.		 The next meeting of the Leicester Doctor Who fan group which is held at The Ale Wagon, Rutland Street, Leicester from 8:00pm In association with Tenth Planet Events, Whoovers presents 'An Evening With Peter Purves'.

Peter is well known to us for playing companion Steven Taylor opposite William Hartnell's first Doctor. However, to the general viewing public, his status as one of the longest-serving presenters of Blue Peter makes him a legend. Others know him as the presenter of Crufts Dog Show, Junior Kick Start or any number of shows in a very long career.

This event gives us a rare opportunity to meet Peter, to hear him discuss his varied career and also get an autograph or two! Everyone is welcome. Entry costs £8 waged, £5 unwaged (both prices include one free autograph!). Extra autographs (including free photograph!) are on sale from Tenth Planet Events. Strictly no entry before 7.30pm
