Sophie Aldred is often described as being one of the nicest people to have been involved in Doctor Who. This is a reputation that was more than confirmed on her visit to The Whoovers. In a wide-ranging discussion, she delights a record audience in the Voicebox, chatting to Steve Hatcher about her years as Ace, both on the TV series from 1988 to 1989 and since, and revealing her Derbyshire family connections.
