An evening with Ian Fairbairn

In his four Doctor Who appearances Ian battled the Macra, was executed by the Cybermen in a London sewer, attacked Jon Pertwee's Doctor atop a hundred foot gasometer and saved the fourth Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith from alien seed pods in the Antarctic.

In recent years he has re-emerged onto the Doctor Who scene, attending his first conventions, contributing to the DVD releases of 'The Invasion' and "Inferno" as well as the Loose Cannon Reconstruction of 'The Macra Terror' (www.recons.com), appearing in the Big Finish Doctor Who audio play 'Catch 1782' and twice coming to Derby as a guest of The Whoovers.
